The Rapid Transformation of AI and Its Impacts

A habit I have, and perhaps you should have too, is reading old press notes, articles that were published at specific market times or in certain life situations.

This will give you a perspective on the sentiment of the population at those times, as well as a much longer-term view.

It might be raining heavily today or it might be very cold, but sooner or later the sun will come out again. Some even start to doubt this, saying that the Earth is close to self-destruction, but we'll leave that for another day.

One of the articles I read a few weeks ago wasn't that old; it was from just over a year ago, specifically from January 2023. This article talked about how AI was making a breakthrough. ChatGPT was beginning to get a little hype, but what surprised me the most was the speed at which the mental framework of AI has changed in such a short period of time.

Specifically, what the article said was:

In case you don’t understand where I'm heading, we are talking about just a year and a half ago, we were asking AI to write us a poem and it seemed completely novel.

Another test that was conducted was the creation of images.

Now we are amazed by videos and movies, but the question is: what is the limit?

I have said it on several occasions, but AI will replace 90% of humans in a very short time. Any job that can be automated will likely end up disappearing and being occupied by a much more efficient AI.

During the industrial revolution, 90% of people worked in agriculture. Today, only 10% do. Perhaps, it's time to return to rural life, since food is one of the few things we will always need.

This is simply a warning, I firmly believe that the world is changing in giant steps, and that we all need to position ourselves in front of this changing world.

I firmly believe that more than ever, cryptocurrencies will play a fundamentally important role in this world. Many refer to Bitcoin as digital gold and although it is true that I believe it will not be used for payments, gold has not been used as such either, I think it is a way to return to the origins and be able to trade.

If you don't believe me, perhaps you should believe Elon Musk, who is one of the people who is ahead of everything that is happening (look at the date of the tweet).

Moreover, one curious fact that will make us think is the increase in people using ChatGPT at their workplace. This number has increased exponentially, which means that we are automating tasks. However, the number of hours and workers has not decreased, this means that soon, when companies standardize its use, it will.

I firmly believe that we are facing one of the most transformational processes in history. As always, these kinds of changes are creating opportunities to make a great fortune. We all need to be mature enough to know how to optimize it as much as possible.
