Debt was what brought us very close to the end of capitalism in 2008, and it is leading us to an extent where we do not know how we will end up.
A few months ago, I read a study discussing how half of the jobs by 2035 will be replaced by robots and algorithms. You can call it AI (for the hype) or whatever you want. The really important part of the study is that most people will lack value to society. They will not contribute.
Adding to this, most countries worldwide are reducing their working hours because they are automating processes. It is clear that we are heading towards a world where there will only be two types of people:
Those who control the algorithms, robots, or AIs
Those who contribute nothing to society
