Why Millennials Are Running Out of Money Faster Than Ever
The more I observe the working world, the more I believe we are nearing the end of one of the longest bull cycles in history. It doesn’t matter if you live in Europe, America, Dubai, or China. If you want to work, you’ll find a job in just 2-3 days. Obviously, I’m not saying these jobs will be highly qualified, but you can always access entry-level positions like waiters, cleaners, etc. (all my respect to them—we couldn’t do without them).
This dynamic has shifted the balance: instead of workers fighting to get into companies, it’s the companies fighting to attract workers. People are demanding more and more, with the most common requests being the ones you can all imagine: remote work, flexibility, vacation time...
When I started working, this wasn’t the case. People would fight to work long hours and try to climb the ladder. Now, that’s over. Don’t even think about sending an email to someone after 7:00 PM because they won’t reply.
